Damien Riat, a highly respected Swiss forward known for his skill, compete level and international experience. A long-standing member of Platform International, Damien was part of Platform’s first project of bringing Swiss talent overseas, leaving his hometown of Geneva at the age of 15 to pursue both his education and hockey development at Athol Murray College of Notre Dame in Saskatchewan, Canada, a move that marked the beginning of his international journey.

Following a season in Malmö, Sweden, he returned to Switzerland to make his professional debut with Genève-Servette HC at just 18 years old. He was later selected in the NHL Entry Draft by the Washington Capitals, and has consistently represented Switzerland on the international stage, including appearances at the IIHF World Championships.

Throughout his career in the Swiss National League, Damien has earned a reputation as a consistent and strong performer both on and oN the ice, serving as a captain within his club and among the most respected forwards in Swiss hockey.
