About us
Platform International, founded in 2007, is an NHLPA-certified player agency who’s mission is to develop elite-level talent in professional hockey. Based in Switzerland, operating worldwide and led by Frédéric Holdener, we work closely with a select group of athletes, whom we’ve guided from a young age, with the goal of helping them reach and thrive at the highest levels of the sport.
Our approach goes beyond contract negotiation. We build long-term, personal relationships with our players and provide the tools they need to succeed both on and off the ice. Through our international network of top coaches, performance experts, and sports physiologists, we deliver a comprehensive development platform tailored to each athlete.
At Platform, we believe in shaping complete individuals. While we push our athletes to reach their full potential on the ice, we also emphasize the importance of education and character development. Many of our players pursue university degrees and speak multiple languages, reflecting the international and well-rounded values we stand for.
Our vision
At Platform International, the off-season is the backbone of everything we do. It is the cornerstone of long-term success for our athletes and the foundation of Frédéric Holdener’s vision for elite performance. Drawing on his own experience as a high-level athlete and his time coaching in winter sports at the Nagano and Salt Lake City Olympics, Frédéric has designed a program that pushes athletes to reach their full potential, both physically and mentally.
Our summer preparation is a rigorous, carefully structured grind, combining intense physical training with mental conditioning and a focus on injury prevention. Frédéric has worked tirelessly to create the best possible conditions for athletes, surrounding them with world-class expert support to maximize performance, resilience, and readiness for the season.

For younger talents, Summer is a chance to lay the foundation for elite-level performance. For professionals, it is about refining every detail, pushing past comfort zones, and sustaining peak form for the demands of the season.
